By car: from France take the N-260 that connects Puigcerdá with Planoles. From your point of origin, head towards the C-17 motorway that connects Barcelona with Vic and Ripoll. In Ripoll, follow the N-260 towards Ribes de Freser and Puigcerdá. After Ribas de Freser, follow the N-260 (collada de Tosas) to the town of Planoles. Once in Planoles cross the village following the main street to the train station. Cross the level crossing by the overpass; so finish the overpass turn right (direction the Cassettes). Follow about 500 meters to the crossroads, turn right (small sign of Can Gasparó). Cross the bridge over the river Rigard. At the end of the bridge turn right (small sign can Gasparó). Follow paved road about 2 km to the end and you will have reached Can Gasparó Hotel Rural & Restaurant.

By train : take one of the RENFE trains on line R3 to Puigcerdá and get off at Planoles. There are 7 trains every day. You can check the timetables on the RENFE / Rodalies Catalunya website.
